Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas use gentle infrared waves to penetrate deep into your skin, warming your body from within. This process promotes detoxification, improves circulation, and helps relax sore muscles without the intense heat of a steam sauna. The soothing warmth also encourages deep relaxation, reducing stress levels and improving sleep quality. With regular use, infrared sauna sessions can support heart health, boost metabolism, and leave your skin glowing. It’s a rejuvenating experience that nurtures both your physical and mental well-being.
"Sweat cleanses from the inside. It comes from places a shower will never reach."
Cold plunge therapy is an invigorating practice that stimulates circulation, reduces muscle inflammation, and boosts recovery. When you immerse yourself in cold water, your blood vessels constrict, helping to flush out toxins and reduce swelling. Once you step out, your circulation improves, delivering oxygen-rich blood to tired muscles. This contrast effect enhances endurance, strengthens the immune system, and even elevates mood by triggering the release of endorphins. Whether you're an athlete looking for faster muscle recovery or simply seeking mental clarity, a cold plunge is a powerful reset for both body and mind.
"The cold is merciless, but it is also fair."
Also known as halotherapy, salt therapy is a natural treatment that involves breathing in microscopic salt particles to cleanse and revitalize the respiratory system. As you relax in a salt-infused environment, the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt help clear congestion, reduce inflammation, and improve lung function. This therapy is particularly beneficial for those with allergies, asthma, sinus issues, or respiratory conditions, as well as for anyone looking to boost immunity and overall well-being. Beyond respiratory benefits, salt therapy also nourishes the skin, promoting a natural glow and helping to alleviate conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. The negatively charged ions in the salt-rich air can enhance mood, reduce stress, and improve sleep quality by promoting relaxation at a cellular level. Whether you're seeking deep breathwork, skin rejuvenation, or a moment of stillness, salt therapy offers a restorative experience that harmonizes body and mind.
"The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea."

A sports massage focuses on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity and reducing muscle tension. Muscle tightness can limit flexibility, increase pain and cause future injuries. Sports massage helps release muscle tightness. Unlike a deep tissue massage, which is usually administered across the whole body, a sports massage pinpoints specific areas that tend to be problematic, or certain muscle groups that are tight or stressed from repetitive movement. All sessions are customized to the individual clients needs.
Sports massage helped me recover after workouts. I'm so grateful!
This was the best sports massage ever! My back pain is gone so I can do my favorite deadlift again! Thanks, definitely 5 stars!
Hot stone massage is a therapeutic massage technique that uses smooth, heated stones to relax muscles, improve circulation, and relieve tension, often enhancing the benefits of traditional massage techniques. The therapist places the heated stones on specific points along the body or uses them to glide over muscles during massage, promoting relaxation and deeper muscle penetration. All sessions are customized to the individual clients needs.
Hot stone massage is incredible! The warmth and relaxation are unmatched.
Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic massage technique that uses slow, firm strokes and pressure to target deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues (fascia), aiming to release chronic tension and pain. Unlike some massage techniques that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massage is more targeted and aims to treat specific areas of muscle pain and stiffness. Deep tissue massage helps to break down scar tissue that can form after injuries, which can restrict movement and cause pain. All sessions are customized to the individual clients needs.
This was the deepest and most relaxing massage I've ever had! Thank you for your professionalism.
Swedish Massage involves a combination of long, gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and vibration. The massage therapist uses their hands, forearms, or elbows to apply pressure and manipulate the soft tissues of the body. The primary goal of a Swedish Massage is relaxation and stress relief. Using the techniques described above, it does this by improving circulation, increasing oxygen flow in the blood, and releasing toxins from the muscles. Swedish Massage has numerous benefits, including reducing muscle tension, improving flexibility, enhancing immune function, and promoting relaxation. All sessions are customized to the individual clients needs.
"Every massage is an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life."
Swedish massage is a classic! I feel like a new person after it.
Prenatal massage is a specialized form of massage tailored to the unique needs of pregnant women, focusing on gentle techniques, specific positioning, and areas prone to discomfort which offer benefits like reduced anxiety, muscle pain relief, and improved labor outcomes. Prenatal massage is safe during all 9 months but if you’re high risk a doctor’s release is needed. Side-lying technique used during last trimester. All sessions are customized to the individual clients needs.

Warm pindas or pouches are filled with rice or herbs and soaked in medicated oil or a milk decoction then applied to specific areas of the body experiencing pain or discomfort, or the whole body for neuromuscular and skeletal disorders. Ayurveda is a complete healthcare science, focused on restoring and maintaining a balance of the mind, body, and spirit. The tools of Ayurveda are powerful in both preventing disease in those who are healthy and curing disease in those who are ill. The practice of Ayurveda involves working with all five senses utilizing diet, color, aroma, sound, yoga, meditation and much more to restore harmony and balance. The first step on your path to optimal health and peace of mind begins with your Initial Consultation with your Ayurvedic Practitioner. This consultation will include an intake and assessment followed by a report of findings. From this experience, you can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the foundational principles of Ayurveda, a summary of your constitution and Vikruti (current state of imbalance), as well as initial recommendations to begin your healing journey. We understand that it has taken time for your mind-body to develop any imbalances you are experiencing and with this knowledge recognize that the healing journey too will take time. At your report of findings, your practitioner will outline the best treatment plan based on you as a unique individual, and you can expect to work with them in an ongoing manner for 6-12 months. Throughout this time your treatment plan will be implemented at a pace appropriate for you. Our goal is to provide you with the tools of Ayurveda, which will empower you to be able to make choices in your life that will create and then sustain optimal health and peace of mind.

At Sattvic Wellness Center, we believe in care of people, our community, and the planet. Our founder, Stephanie, embodies this ethos. A third-generation massage therapist, she bridges timeless wisdom with modern values, creating a space where wellness and sustainability thrive in harmony.
Stephanie’s journey began with a deep respect for holistic healing, rooted in her family’s legacy. After graduating from the National Holistic Institute she dedicated herself to empowering others to live vibrantly.
In 2013, she launched her private practice at Akasha Yoga Studio in downtown Vacaville, a hub for mindful living. Here, she connected with like-minded individuals—active professionals, and wellness seekers—who craved a holistic approach to health. Later, collaborating with Dr. Zack at Blue Ridge Chiropractic, she fused massage therapy with chiropractic care, emphasizing the power of integrative, natural wellness. During this time she also attended the California College of Ayurveda and gained her Ayurvedic Health Counselor Certification. She also continued to expand her knowledge and love of body work by attending several Ayurvedic modality workshops.
In July 2021, Stephanie’s vision blossomed into Sattvic Wellness Center—a haven for those who prioritize self-care, sustainability, and collective growth. We cater to active lifestyles, offering therapies that restore busy bodies, calm ambitious minds, and honor nature. For our community wellness isn’t a luxury. It’s a conscious choice to heal oneself while nurturing the world around us. When you’re here you’ll find more than relaxation. You’ll join a tribe that believes in health as activism and self-care as a force for good.
This is our story. A story of passion, purpose, and the profound belief that caring for ourselves and the Earth are one and the same. Here, wellness isn't a service; it is a way of being.
